From Sensitive Documents to 1,100 Lb Bales of Shredded Paper
A big thank you to everyone that came out and made our eighth shredding event another success. The improved traffic flow and attention to acceptable paper for shredding, produced a smooth flow of cars. The turn around time from emptying a car full of documents, filling the dumpster and feeding it to the shredding truck was a all-time low. We only had one minor paper jam. The mild, sunny fall weather was a nice bonus.
Rich, the operator of the Safe Guard shredding truck proudly showed the newly enhanced camera system that displayed the “shredding” on the control panel monitor. There was no doubt that everyone’s sensitive documents were being shredded on-site. Back at their warehouse the shredded paper gets compressed into 1,100 lb. bales for sale to a paper broker.
Be sure to mark your calendars for our ninth shred event next spring, April 7th, 2018. Hopefully, winter will be behind us and we are greeted with a beautiful spring morning to do this again.
