Acceptable Items for Shredding and Recycling

123Junk is donating a truck and personal for the collection and proper disposal of the electronics we collect. Please see the list below of what they can take. Please know that they DO NOT destroy the hard drive of computers. If you are sensitive about information being seen, please remove it before dropping off. We cannot accept batteries or any flammable materials.
Please keep in mind. we will only have one truck! Once it is full, they will not be able to accept any more, so plan to show up early!
Here are some items they have taken before:

- computers
- monitors
- laptops
- keyboards
- radios
- speakers
- wires
- extension cords
- small appliances
- televisions
- fans
- printers
- scanners
- cameras
- flash drives
- compact discs
- typewriters
- cell phones
- telephones

Shredding
The following items should provide a good example of what we can accept for shredding:
- plastic covers
- colored stock
- manila folders
- staples
- paper clips
- confidential printing
- traditional office/printer paper
- small binder clips
- small quantities of discs and diskettes
We cannot accept items like:
- redwelds
- accordion files
- pressboard divided folders
- hanging file folders
- three ring binders
- newspapers and magazines
- cardboard
- jumbo binder clips
- Tyvek/FedEx envelopes
