The Curb Appeal Says, “Welcome Home”…
…and after visiting, you will say, “I’m home!”
After turning into the cul-de-sac, my first thought was about how nice the houses all looked. My next thought after parking in front was how nice the house and the new driveway both looked. After selling houses as long as I have, you get a feeling when walking up to certain houses that you are in for something good. In this case, I was almost right. This house is better than good, it’s great.
Upon entering the bright and airy two-story foyer I knew this house was well-maintained and “new house” clean. What a wonderful feeling to get. The center hallway that separates the formal living room and dining room leads you into where all the daily living takes place. The cozy family room and stylish kitchen share an atrium door to the private deck.
Like the current owners, you will love the multi-use lower level that features a Bose 10-speaker media area, kitchenette with table space, a fifth bedroom / office and a third full bath. The atrium door and window do more then brighten the lower level. The level walkout leads to the patio and rear yard – another great feature.
Great houses, like this one, don’t just happen. They require a homeowner that is concerned with the large and small details that need maintenance over time. Just this year the carpet and lower level flooring were replaced. The driveway was replaced in 2016 and the roof in 2010. A list of additional improvements is available.
Potomac Station’s low monthly HOA dues of $64 provide a lot of amenities. They include a gorgeous clubhouse, a junior Olympic-size pool (included in HOA fee), seven great playground areas, a basketball court, two tennis courts, and walking trails.
Does this sound like a place you would like to call home?
